CLASSIC DIY DOOR WREATH

Spring greetings with Snow Roses

The brushwood-based door wreath is a classic floral decoration for good reason. It is fairly easy to make, does not require any extravagant materials and offers countless design options. It is also durable and can be styled individually for any time of year or season. In other words, it is always a versatile thoughtful gift or welcoming decoration on the doorstep. This DIY idea is great for showing how the Snow Roses' blaze of colour brightens up the dark time of the year, and reminds you that spring is coming.

MATERIAL MATERIAL

thin twigs or dry tendrils, eucalyptus and thistle or baby's breath as desired, wire, test tubes (glass or plastic), feathers, secateurs, felt or other kind of ribbon, glue as needed, Snow Rose flowers
STEP 1 STEP 1

Lay out twigs or tendrils in a circle and fix with pieces of wire. Using a round shallow dish may be helpful as a support for obtaining a neat circular shape.
STEP 2 STEP 2

Stick the tubes into the wreath and fix with wire or glue as needed. Ensure the tubes will not be in an excessively horizontal position once the wreath is hung up, because they will be filled with water to accommodate the fresh Snow Rose flowers.
STEP 3 STEP 3

Fill the tubes with water and add fresh green leaves and/or flowers. If you use dried flowers, you can also stick the flowers directly into the wreath of course.
STEP 4 STEP 4

Incorporate feathers into the wreath. You may want to fix them with glue as they get quite easily blown away by the wind.
STEP 5 STEP 5

Add a matching ribbon loop to hang up the wreath.
